Ghee

It is a millenary food of origin from India very used in its traditional Ayurvedic medicine for its beneficial properties for health, they call it liquid gold for its purity and color. It is a type of butter, which comes from unsalted cow’s butter, which is subjected to a process of clarification by heat for a long period of time; the heat causes the non-fatty compounds to separate from it and the result is a pure fat.
Today it is widely used in gourmet cuisine by cooks and chefs and is also widely recommended by functional medicine as a healthy fat.
